Water Wonderland Chapter
A chapter is a great avenue for people with a common interest to get together to share information, experiences, and last but not least, boating fun!
The Water Wonderland Chapter is one of the largest chapters of The Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc. Although the Chapter was founded in Traverse City (northwest region of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula), its members not only hail from throughout the state, but across the Midwest.
With the many beautiful lakes throughout the state along with the long standing boat building companies and notable restorers, Michigan is rich in boating history, activities and opportunities.
BOATS ON THE
Boardwalk
On the first Saturday of August, the Water Wonderland chapter hosts the Boats on the Boardwalk classic boat show set along the tree-lined boardwalk of the Boardman River in Traverse City, Michigan. The river provides the perfect location to display historic, antique and classic boats. Vintage boats of any material and older than 25 years are welcome.
